“ This is a college staple for sure. Been going to La Bambas since the 90s. It is just what it should be decent food, completely filling, and cheap. Do not expect high end dining, just expect home cooked style food. The tortas carne asada, are my favorite but frankly all of it is good. The sleeper star in my opinion is the chorizo, get it in a taco to try. The bonus is the Bloomington location is the Sushi, which aligns with the tacos, cheap, approachable, and really quite edible! I just wish from a timing stand point the hours of the sushi would match the taco side of the house. They are both great. Keep them in business. It is a welcome food upon returning to IL!! ”
